Our Year 9 Food students are currently studying the topic of eggs. This week they learnt about denaturing and coagulation of eggs and followed this theory lesson with a practical whereby they had to cook eggs in five different ways: scrambled, poached, fried, omelette, boiled. This demonstrated the versatility of eggs and provided a welcome mid-morning snack!
