Food Preparation and Nutrition

This week our Year 9 Food Students have been learning about secondary processing of milk, to make an end product, in this case Scones.  Firstly they whisked double cream to separate the butterfat from the milk, before straining it to remove all of the liquid.  During the next lesson they utilised the Butter and Buttermilk to make fruit Scones.
