A gutsy effort to fight til the final whistle.

The year 10 netball team took on Kings-high this evening. The year 10 team was struggling with players due to illness.

The girls started strong, with great tracking and interceptions by Sofia giving Southam the opportunity to take more attempts on goal. Solid shorting from Chloe meant they were still in the game.

A few changes were made bringing on Izzy and Grace. Izzy managed to take control of the pace in the attacking end making sure it wasn’t too erratic on the final feed. 

The third quarter saw the girls come into their own and actually win the quarter. However the lead was just too much from the start and the girls were unable to scramble it back. The game finished 18-12 to Kings High.

Well done tonight girls you worked hard throughout, and have some areas for improvement  moving forward towards your league semi final.
