Goldfish Boy Reading Book

We have had a fantastic two days of induction with our new year 7 students, as mentioned in yesterday’s talk, copies of the Goldfish Boy will be supplied to each child in time for September. These will be given to students from our feeder schools next week when they visit for further lessons, if your child is out of catchment and attending twilight sessions, books will be available then, or feel free to collect a copy from the student office. We can also send copies of the book home with siblings.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Southam soon!

Important Update for WCC Bus Travel

If your child travels on a bus service where the pass is issued by Warwickshire County Council you must provide a passport photo of your child to the transport team at WCC in order that they can use the bus service in September 2019.  All bus passes will have student photos on and students without the correct photo pass will be refused travel.  WCC want to thank all of the parents/carers that have already submitted child photos.  If you have not yet sent the required photo please do this promptly to ensure passes are available for travel in September.

Induction Evening Reminder

We are really looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students for their induction days on Wednesday and Thursday. This is a reminder for parents of the induction evening timings on Wednesday 26th June.

Doors open from 6pm with the first talk commencing at 6:30pm for students from Southam Primary, St James, St Mary’s, Long Itchington and Stockton.

Doors open from 7:15pm with the second talk commencing at 7:30pm, we welcome students from any primary school to this talk.

There will be a maximum of two seats available per family, students are invited to attend this evening as they will be completing House activities whilst parents attend the talks. It will also be helpful if local residents could walk to the college to reduce traffic congestion on this evening.
